IEEE IAUCTB-SB in association has conducted a hands-on course on MATLAB. It is being hosted by Morteza Firouzi, an Electronic engineer who achieved his BS. and MS. degrees at IAUCTB.
MATLAB that stands for MATrix LABoratory is a tool for doing numerical computations with matrices and vectors and also a programming language developed by MathWorks.
Although MATLAB is intended primarily for numerical computing, it has many other toolboxes and abilities for different subjects like aerospace, signal processing, neural networks etc. You can also use Simulink for your graphical simulation projects.
We recommend you to learn MATLAB by taking this course or by your own effort to go half way of being a professional engineer.

What ham radio operators did pick up was the radio traffic relayed from ship to ship, and from ship-to-shore stations.
